Moving the contributions repo to GitHub? Mavenizing?

I’m not sure how many different ways I can say that I already have this working… but if you like to do work that others have already done and so will be wasted… knock yourself out.

Ah, sorry. Probably I did not get you! However, if all is already done, for some reason you have not migrated… probably because some manual work, which is not ready by itself isn’t done yet… As for me - yes, this kind of task is perfectly in line with what I must have in my knowledge base, so for me that won’t be a waste.

Anyway, thanks for being with me!

Well, it’s mostly about not screwing folks over. First, there has to be a place to put them. Second, there has to be some coordination of access so that owners of current projects are at least granted the opportunity to still have access to their new projects. Then if this is done before google code becomes read-only then there has to be an announcement and time for people to react… it’s best not to screw over a bunch of people that might have code checked out. I don’t do any of those things as I find them about as fun as having my toe nails slowly pulled off by rusty pliers soaked in vinegar.

As with most things, the problems are not technical.
