My Boxing Game

Hi, your game looks neat, and i'm impressed you've integrated a physics model with a model.

How do your guys not fall over? Do you hold them on a string when they're hit so you can see the impact?

Is this game open for public play at all?

There is a balancer class that adds the right amount of force to the boxers.

Yea the game is open for play at www.onlineboxing.net

Cool, I played against the pc and thought I'd won, but it was the pc who won the day… I felt like my guy was throwing punches a bit too much to the left, but I dont really know boxing so couldnt say…

Thanks for the link!

Finally PhysX released their engine without the need for an "installer"…

So now the game works with webstart instead of a lengthy dowload/install process   8) (on windows only, so far).

If someone would like to try it, here's the webstart link, see you in the ring  }:-@ }:-@

When do you plan to support Linux?  :'(

I would have to compile the natives for PhysX for Linux. Would need to install Linux and setup my eclipse environment and everything. Then test it. I could probably do all that in a week or so if I had the time. Right now I don't but this has to be done sooner or later.

…And the webstart has now moved to

I’ve played your game very shortly and it looks nice. Congratulations.

Can you also add kickboxing to your game ?
