New combine modes for LightState and TextureState

LightState and TextureState have new combine modes that will help eliminate some work for you! The first is INHERIT which is similar to the render queue’s INHERIT mode. Basically, now you can set a parent node to a specific mode and if it’s children are set to INHERIT, they will pick up the parent’s mode. INHERIT is the new default mode setting in Spatial for both light and texture. If it looks all the way up the tree without finding a set mode it uses the old defaults, so your programs should still work the same.



The second mode is OFF, which allows you to shut off lights or textures at a given spatial (and it’s children if applicable.) No more need to set a disabled lightstate and use the REPLACE mode!
