NullpointerEx in TestTerrainPage (& others)

Trying to run TestTerrainPage I get the following:

java.lang.NullPointerException

at com.jme.input.action.NodeMouseLook.performAction(NodeMouseLook.java:158)

at com.jme.input.InputHandler.update(InputHandler.java:312)

at com.jme.app.SimpleGame.update(SimpleGame.java:110)

at com.jme.app.BaseGame.start(BaseGame.java:68)

at jmetest.terrain.TestTerrainPage.main(TestTerrainPage.java:71)

TestTerrain, TestTerrainTrees work fine.

TestTerrainPage, TestTerrainLighting, TestTorus do not (with same exception).

I haven’t tried any others yet, I’m using the src straight from CVS in Eclipse. Any suggestions befire I waste time digging around?

The demos doesn’t seem to be configured to the new input system.

Here’s a thread where mojo explaines it: http://www.mojomonkeycoding.com/jmeforum/viewtopic.php?t=925

This is all my fault… :// Rushed to get it in without testing very well. I’ll work on fixing it today.

Oops, musta gotten logged out on the last comment. Don’t worry too much about it Mojo, just getting a feel for the system.

Well, those tests are broken for everyone and I broke them. :) So, I have to worry about it or people will yell at me.

Ok, it was a simple issue. Just forgot to create a variable for NodeMouseLook. Checking in right… now.

That should take care of the majority of them… limited time so only check the ones you mentioned… if someone could check the rest.

Sorry about this, pretty sloppy on my part.

NodeMouseLook should be version 1.7, adding:

event = new InputActionEvent();

to the constructor.

This fixed the TestTerrainPage for me, then I had to go. So, it might not have fixed all issues. Make sure you have the latest and let me know. I’ll have a few minutes in a bit to try fixing others.

Ergh, need to remember to check if I’m logged in. Doesn’t seem to stick…

Great, I think the only pending problem I’ve created is with the Particle Editor. I still need to work on that a bit.

Seems to be a common problem on this board...

P.S. you probably notice that you aren’t getting topic update notifications. This is because SpamCop seems to be snuffing them out, and then sending them back to me.

I did wonder about that … went and turned notifications off.

Don't know if it's the same for you but :

if i log using the link 'Log in' it doesn't work all the time.

if i log using the link 'Log to check your private message' : it's always OK

So now i only use this link and have no problem with login

Bye,
