OBJLoader enhancement: named groups support

I concur - also, since the format is so simple, I don’t see this being a significant ongoing maintenance burden.

You can have an OBJ file with no (plain) group and several smoothing groups; it’s what you meant by working in parallel, it’s ok.

There are faces A, B, C and D. A and B united in named group, B and C are united in smooth group.

Yes but I admit that the case I met several times is rather no (plain) group but several smoothing groups or some (plain) groups and smoothing disabled (s off).

@gouessej Ok, puzzle assembled. Then it seems my implementation works exactly as you want (I’ve added logging and modified test).

Then as far as you’re concerned, PR 1369 is ready to be integrated?

From my point of view - yes, it’s ready.
