OpenGL Book Recommendation

What books do you recommend for getting started with OpenGL? 

Right now I'm leaning toward OpenGL Programming Guide: The Official Guide to Learning OpenGL, Version 1.4 or the "Red Book" as it's commonly called.

That's what I've got…I've found it pretty useful.


But be sure to get the newest edition (the fifth) – it covers OpenGL 2.0.

Bought it a few days ago and am reading it right now.

Its good, go for it!

Now I will do something in hardcore OpenGL. Without that dog-slow Java ballast  :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:
