I just wanted to post about this new site that me and a few friends have started, showcasing some free to play games we made in jMonkeyEngine.
Our first game, a partially physics based tower defense game called "Candy Defense" we launched this morning, and we're planning to launch 2 more games in the next week.
Thanks to the community for producing JMonkeyEngine - we've enjoyed working with it and hope that we can help raise the visibility of the platform by putting more of these games out for people to try out.

Good, unfortunately, I ran the first game, it launched jME, it created a rendering window, and then crashed without further notice!
I am under Linux. (Perhaps this is a Windows only game?)
Played here fine. It's actually pretty fun! Add some music, a few tweaks, and maybe a little visual punch and then sell it to Yahoo or something.

I don't know exactly what is going on there with it looking for the jar in the same folder as the jnlp. It appears to be that the netstart loader in some versions will look in the codebase folder for the jars, and in others will ignore it and only look in the same folder as the jnlp file. I've uploaded a copy of all the jars to the same dir as the jnlp, so try it and see if you still get those errors.
Thanks for the feedback guys!
Now it failed with a FileNotFoundException for ODETest.jar ://
Did you try clearing your cache on your browser? I've found that sometimes I have to do that if the server organization / jnlp has changed recently.
Candy Defense is pretty cool.
But the invaders got stuck on the floor trap. I think the Trap should be less high, so they can walk over it easier.
Anyway nice job !

But that was my winning strategy! Now you spoiled it! :D
BTW, I had Momoko_Fan's download problem on my first attempt, then tried again, and it worked.
Nice work guys! I really like physics involved games, and wish I had the imagination to "invent" one myself...
Nice game
Should be harder :D (just waiting for all the nutcrackers to explode without moving the mouse after a while)
By requiring JDK 1.6+ in the jnlp you removed the OS X market.
Small loss
You just angered a lot of black turtlenecks.

I'm not sure about that. I was told that there are more people on Mac willing to pay for games than on Linux...
Thanks again for all the positive comments (I'll try to address the incompatibility issues and error messages as quickly as possible).
We launched our second game today, it's called Mars Settler (kind of like a SimCity on Mars sort of game). If you guys have some time you should check it out too!

Good game… I thought it was easy… I started building like crazy, and then my population collapsed of starvation :’(
I have managed to fill the whole grid… but never won, nor lost… I simply cannot make my population grow, be happier or do anything anymore…
Sound like time to commit genocide }:-@
