Physics explosion question

i found a baseball player that I was gonna use to get some practice playing bones and animating.  Before I knew it i had the model all animated.  I wanna use the ball thrower used in test with AI so he'll swing but thats as far as my mind has gone.  From there would the bat hitting the ball launch the ball or am i gonna have to use phyics explosion when the 2 hit?

If you set up your collisions properly then the bat hitting the ball is more than sufficient.

yep, and I'd say explosions are unsuited here, as well as BallThrower class (if you even meant that one - but BallThrower class might be an inspiration) as it throws a ball starting at the cam.
