I guess I can give that a shot. Given I don’t know much about using the straight up PhysicsNode so this presents a lot of questions.
Anything at all for the rayTest usage though? I feel like I’m doing something wrong to be getting the strange results I’m getting.

No, I dint have time to test testRay more yet.
No problem, the effects I was planning on adding using that ground collision point can wait. And if worse comes to worst, I can fake it some other way. I should probably be spending more time on getting this player movement straightened out. I got a full belly of lunch food now so I’ll give PhysicsNode a shot!
