Pipe Geometry

I am interested in creating pipe or path geometry from a series of vertices. I searched the forum for postings and saw discussion of this a while back. There was some talk of building this in the jME core. Has this progressed, or does anyone have advice on how to approach this? The Curve object seems like a good place to start.



Another cool approach for my purposes would be the ability to do particle effects along a curve…
