Creating Engine Support for Android Sensor Input

After reading this last post about someone wanting Android’s sensor interface, I began getting inspired to work on getting the engine to support this interface. I want to make sure people think this is a good idea and that no one is already working on it. I think there are 2 choises: Create a new input type “SensorInput” similar to TouchInput, or shoehorn it into one of the existing input types. Personnally, I think it needs a new input type. Is there any interest?
