Pointlight trouble

Hello again,

I have a problem using the pointlight feature. I have 1 pointlight with very little radius on a terrain of 128f x 128f.

It should lit only a small part however it lits the entire terrain…

Is there some compatibility issue or something?



Yes I have the same problem. Also, I already wrote about this, but at that time there was no answer… Link to my old thread (I would appreciate if someone with more knowledge on this could provide some answer :)).

I suspect that light usage is currently a little broken (at least for point lights) and somebody is working on improving this system? :slight_smile: Is there a plan for deferred rendering maybe or some similar system to support great amount of lights in a scene? (Maybe idea for GSoC?)

The issue was with the terrain shader, it has been fixed now
