ProceduralTextureGenerator in jme3?

I was looking at this page for jme2 https://wiki.jmonkeyengine.org/legacy/doku.php/starter:hello_terrain and I would like to have “Procedural Texturing” in my jme3 game but there are no ProceduralTextureGenerator class like jme2 apparently had.

Is there a new way to do this in jme3?
