Gradle here. I am trying to pull in the latest stable version of jme3 jars (core and a few others) into my Gradle build and have seen many code examples online purporting http://updates.jmonkeyengine.org/maven
as the repo to search inside of. However that URL seems to be down.
How can I wire the jme3 jars into my Gradle build? Currently I know I need the core jar but may eventually need to pull in several others. Thanks!

The jars are available at jcenter:
repositories {
jcenter()
}
ext {
jmeVersion = "[3.1,)"
}
dependencies {
compile "org.jmonkeyengine:jme3-core:$jmeVersion"
compile "org.jmonkeyengine:jme3-desktop:$jmeVersion"
compile "org.jmonkeyengine:jme3-lwjgl:$jmeVersion"
compile "org.jmonkeyengine:jme3-effects:$jmeVersion"
}

Here you can find latest JME packages :
you can get gradle or maven settings there.

Also there is this nice Bootmonkey, will generate a JME project based on gradle build, with minimal dependencies preset.
Hey monkeys, so we are in a weird state where we “offcially” dropped the SDK.
Paradoxically, the SDK hasn’t been that well since this annouce thanks to the tremendous work of @Darkchaos and all the monkeys working on it.
But still… We still want a lightweight tool suite, agnostic to any IDE and based on standard builds systems like gradle and maven. Something closer to what libgdx has.
We are working in the underground on several projects that are not ready to be made public for now, but firs…
Thanks everyone!
