Pulling in dependencies via Gradle

Gradle here. I am trying to pull in the latest stable version of jme3 jars (core and a few others) into my Gradle build and have seen many code examples online purporting http://updates.jmonkeyengine.org/maven as the repo to search inside of. However that URL seems to be down.

How can I wire the jme3 jars into my Gradle build? Currently I know I need the core jar but may eventually need to pull in several others. Thanks!

The jars are available at jcenter:

repositories {

ext {
    jmeVersion = "[3.1,)"

dependencies {
    compile "org.jmonkeyengine:jme3-core:$jmeVersion"
    compile "org.jmonkeyengine:jme3-desktop:$jmeVersion"
    compile "org.jmonkeyengine:jme3-lwjgl:$jmeVersion"
    compile "org.jmonkeyengine:jme3-effects:$jmeVersion"

Here you can find latest JME packages :

you can get gradle or maven settings there.

Also there is this nice Bootmonkey, will generate a JME project based on gradle build, with minimal dependencies preset.

Thanks everyone!

@Neilos what is the current latest stable version for $jmeVersion. 3.1.???

3.1 beta1.

At least as stable as 3.0 whatever.
