Question

All that made and are making this project possible sure are doing a great job

I am exploring the engine and its possibilities through demo's and tests, and seeing what the related java scripts actually say that the screen shows.

A straight forward application and great engine for the little that i can grasp for now

My question is that to put a game like total annihiliation in the engine would mean that I have to write the source code myself and can use the content of the game, but is there a shortcut like for example when using simplegame that sets up the loop neccesairy to get a screen up or to run it so you can see what it looks like, what lots of folk want in the end like the cry engine editor from farcry. So my question is can i use a base model much like simplegame from ta spring or say the basic setup for a game like farcry.

for now im interested in learning from games and total annihilation and farcry i would like to make subjects through this engine.

Sorry, but I had trouble to understand what your exact question is.

But if you want to start making games and you have no experience yet, better don't try to recreate Farcry or any other commercial game.

Look at the many Opensource games and see how they work and how long they take to develop.

no farcry indeed, my question in short is: is there an example "game" that can be downloaded and put in . Any game would be fine.

the tutorials of how to make a sphere and so on, i am going through to get the basics of it.

The examples and tutorials and what is present in the engine is already very interesting and this project and java is for me a learning experience but I am no experienced at all in java although with the autofill options and examples a lot is clarified.

anyway thanks for answering my post, I describe myself as a ex gamer and though i have played a wide range of games I find the programming and developement interesting.

I will go through more tutorials and get more basic knowledge as I see the level of discussion is of a technical nature and assuming that you "know" so to speak

Check out the flag rush tutorials in the source (although they aren't complete) they show you how to build a simple game from scratch :).

i pretty much know what to do and that is start small and one step at the time

but man i never seen a inside look into an engine like this, very cool

i am already on the quick builds.

tnx guys
