Questions about the texture and shadow

I have two questions:

  1. Can I creat multi-texture in JME3, which could allow me to change one texture gradually to another.
  2. The shadow in JME2 looks much clearer than it in JME3. How can I creat shadows like JME2 in JME.
  1. No you can’t for now, but this can be achieved with a shader. The idea is to create a material definition similar to lighting.j3md and to add support for several diffuse texture and blend them the way you want.


  2. Depends on the processor you are using, but if it’s the PSSMShadowRenderer, there is a method named setShadowIntensity(float). 0.0 gives a complete transparent shadow, 1.0 a complete black shadow. (the default value is 0.7).
