The latest:
New engine and lead programmer!
After many long-night discussions leading us back and forth, we finally concluded that due to the current circumstances, jMonkeyEngine is the most suitable engine for our needs the way things stand.
Having been an active member of Radakan for some time already, and most certainly among the most central persons in the discussion about starting anew with a different engine, Momoko_Fan applied for the position of lead programmer and we are now more than happy to announce that he has been given this responsibility.
Full speed ahead now
Work on the upcoming tech-demo has already begun, and we are now looking for more people who would like to contribute. Ideally we’re looking for just one additional programmer right now, but we encourage everyone with intermediate to adept skill level to apply. If (as there surely will be) are any open positions available at a later point in progress, we’ll be sure to let you know right away. At such a time, having already shown interest in the project once before by applying, will be very positive for the applicant.
Edit: I’ve added some more recent music tracks to the work-examples. I’ll have a new concept-to-content ready for you as soon as our first character is complete (that should mean I’ll have some cool animations and such to show off as well).
Since we are now using jMonkeyEngine as our engine, we need good jME programmers to help us out
As lead programmer I already started working on a gameplay prototype and refining the art path.
