Saving sceens

I was wondering if it is possible to save changes made to a height map in a seen in via code is it the same as the saving and loading terrain example?

You can access the heightmap of the terrain and save that. Or just save the terrain as a j3o file.

I was referring to the whole seen as a j3o. I want to run a height map smoothing algorithm and save the seen as j3o.

This is a image of the terrain from heightMap I would like to smooth it and save it back over itself. I know how to smooth it I have been doing this each time I load it but I was wondering how to save it so I don’t have to do it again?
