Any help is greatly appreciated, for some reason I can't seem to figure this out… I import a model: how do I determine the model's orientation. In otherwords, how does JME know which way is forward or backward for the model?

Thanks in advance…

Well other than directions being somewhat arbitrary, what I generally use is having my models "forward" being along +Z. If you look at the default quaternion, it's the identity, and the direction you get from it (the 2nd rotation column) would be (0,0,1)

Thanks Starnick.

Do you do this in JME or in the 3D model building application? If the former, do you have a code example?
