I got a question about sketchup model. My model size in .skp file is 18 MB. I exported it to ogre via plugin. Mesh.xml file is now 800mb. I put all files into 1 folder and later to Models in JME. I click convert to j3o. There was a progress bar but after it disappeard no j3o was created. Is it to large size?
Probably. 800MB sounds huge for a mesh anyway. Probably you have a too high resolution mesh, try reducing the polygon count and put the detail in via a normal map if you really need this kind of detail. Idk if Sketchup can bake the high res model into a normal map but many editors can do this.
