I'm not sure if that's the right name for what I'm looking for, but I would like to essentially create a sphere that is not perfectly round.  Primarily this is for creating a physics object that is rounded on every part, but can be tall (for example if I were creating a person).  Is there a simple way to do this or does this require connecting a few shapes together?



I think you are referring to a Capsule?  It's essentially a Cylinder with two dome caps…  if the cylinder's height is shrunk to 0, it becomes a sphere, etc.

create a sphere and set it's scale to a non-uniform value.

Okay, I tried that, but the physics engine seems to be disregarding the scale change and setting the collision bounds based on the original size.

ODE does not support non-uniform scaling of spheres :frowning:

Well I guess I'll just stick with a Box for now then. :slight_smile:
