Stereo Vision

Hi All,

I have tried to enable stereo vision in jME. ( AppSettings.setStereo3D( true ) ). But it appears to have no effect…? My PC does support QuadBuffering, and I am not getting any exceptions, but the scene is rendering as normal.

Is the stereo vision actually supported? And is it active or passive stereo?

Hope someone can clarify this.

Is it about some special form of stereo rendering or just normal one? Because I’m expecting a huge demand for stereo rendering as soon as Oculus Rift will get more mainstream… would be great to be prepared for that. Of course, stereo rendering is just first step, head tracking and smart hud/gui are probably bigger problems.
