yesterday I’ve made a commit that allows using generated textures as a normal map.
The ‘nor’ factor is currently set to 1 always, but I’ll fix that soon.
This feature is useful on large areas. When applied to large amount of small faces (UV sphere for example) the result looks poor. Hope to work on that in the future. For now larger areas should look rather ok. You can increase generated texture PPU in blender key to get better results.
So for now feel free to experiment with it and give me some feedback.
