System.out.println in SpotLight

I was getting this weird output
[java]
anfle995.99146
anfle987.99146
anfle987.9848
[/java]

Upon investigation it turned out this is whats printing those lines:

http://code.google.com/p/jmonkeyengine/source/browse/trunk/engine/src/core/com/jme3/light/SpotLight.java?r=10648

Is it possible that the system.out.println() stuff could be removed in a future version?

Yes. Someone please remove the use of System.out from this class, or at least convert it to a log message.

Haha, good find, should probably use the logger instead.

think Remy used it to see the angle; if u look at it, he misspelled it, angle / anfle XD

lol…
I typed it while eating a sandwich…
anyway i removed it, thanks for reporting it;)

It still appears as of jME3 stable, or is my SDK outdated?

This was fixed as of 3.0.6, which went out in March. The latest stable release is 3.0.10.

You can check which version you have by looking at the startup messages in the “Output - Application” window of the IDE. For instance:
