Temporary substitution for 3DS

Hi all,

i just converted a 3ds model to a md2 model which is fully supported in jME. It is very easily done, and requires no effort at all.



I can provide the tools necessary if anybody needs them?

That would help me out quite a bit - I haven’t been able to get free maxscript & plugins availlable to work quite right (no animation). Where might I acquire this tool?

google for "qdata + quake" and youl get tutorials too.



If you figure out how to skin em, plz tell me! :wink:



in the mode.qdt file, you should write



$skin nameOfSkin modelPath/pathToSkin



Quake used qdata to make their models, so they must have done it…but how??
