'UnsatisfiedLinkException: no lwjgl in java.library.path' in Eclipse

This is on a new installation of Eclipse on Kubuntu 8.04 with Sun Java 6 jdk. I am getting the error 'UnsatisfiedLinkException: no lwjgl in java.library.path'. However, using System.getProperty("java.library.path") I can see that it is pointing to the correct directory. I have checked the classpath in the same way. After stepping through the library loading code, I found that in ClassLoader.loadLibrary() the method getClassLoader() returned null, when in my code it was returning the bootstrap class loader. That method returning null caused it to skip checking java.library.path at all! Any help getting this working would be much appreciated.

Edit: Also, I'm using jME 2

did you do step 10 in the tutorial?

And make sure you have the correct library .so (32 / 64 bit) in the lib folder.

I did step 10, and the libs are correct. I found out that lwjgl checks the value of org.lwjgl.librarypath first, and it works if I set that. Not a good fix, but it works.
