Honestly, not everyone's code is going to make it into jME whether because it doesn't fit with our plan, is to specific for one case, etc. So, this has always been the place to post your cool snippets of code. But, let's start getting it into the wiki, that way it's a little more permanent (you can still post about it here to get comments).
Just put it under the Code Snippets section (I am about to add) and surround it with: <code java> </code>

reading the wiki can be a pleasure if content fits.
Although bundled with feedback in the forums it can greatly advance ideas so i like to support wiki
but i think that isn't new to you
