Version 0.6

Ok, 0.6 will be out May 1st. I’m trying to compile a list of everything we’ve done since 0.5, which is long. So if I forgot something, added something I shouldn’t have, let me know.


  1. Discrete Level of Detail
  2. Continuous Level of Detail
  3. Billboard node
  4. Imposter
  5. Render To Texture
  6. Shapes: Sphere, torus, PQTorus, Quad, Octahedron
  7. Initial Vertex program support
  8. Tint
  9. Terrain



    Let me know what I forgot.

One thing I’d like to happen, although I don’t have the time myself is the following:



Every demo has a key that:


  1. switches wireframe on/off
  2. switches boundings on/off



    Every demo displays the:



    FPS and Displayed Verts/tris.



    Basically, we need a demo template (Similar to SimpleGame) for every demo, so that the look/feel is the same for all (with exception to the GUI demos).



    Anyone have time to do that next week? If not, I’ll get it done for 0.7.

I don’t mind putting that together. Just say the word.

Another thing that will happen with 0.6 is the announcement of the apps and tools page. I would love to add screenshots of your guys work, no matter how early. Please, help me fill out the page. If you could provide me with a screenshot of your work and a short description of what it is (url link is optional), I’d love to post it on the page.
