Very Noob question:Importing existing .java files into my project

Hi there,
Just starting with jMonkeyEngine which looks great! But…

I’m probably overlooking something, but how do I import existing .java files into my project?
If I open an existing file I can’t seem to move it into my project.
I know I can just put it in the src folder via windows, but that gets annoying quickly

Thanks for any help!
Tim

What easier way than copying the file do you imagine? oO

Sometimes depending on your IDE you can paste the .java file in the source tree inside the IDE and the IDE will actually take care of changing the package statement for you etc.

Otherwise copy paste in the OS is pretty much the way to go.

You can do that easily, just copy it from the “Files” tab to the “Project” tab.
