Hello,

Using the coolest 3D engine in the world, I have build my first editor…

Wooooow this tank model is brilliant!! who did it???

I’m kidding, nice work Equi!!

Btw…what exactly is a bloomfilter? :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s really impressive ;). Great Job.

@nehon

I do not know who made the tank model but he must be a genius. The monkey on the front tells me that it could be possible that the tank comes from … JME project, or Monkey Island perhaps.

The bloom filter is a filter which is attached to the FilterPostProcessor. It does not work in my Canvas environment. The people from JME project said, that they will fix the “bug” hopefully before christmas…

The tank rules.

Hopefully Christmas is every year...So this will obviously be fixed before A Christmas... :D

Ok i'll look at it, the tank without glow looses a bit of its awesomeness and i can't let that append... :p

Hello,

Video showing model bound capabilities

looks good

The video shows the alpha version of a molecule builder…

There are still some bugs. One bug is the fact that the atoms inside the isosurface which becomes transparent at the end of the video disappear at a specific angle. I don’t know why this happens…

This video shows the blur filter in action

Have a look at the end of the video.

From the look of it, it looks like it's being culled, but I wouldn't swear on it.

Nice work!

It’s pretty neat!

Hello nehon,

do you know the issue why in the first molecule video the spatials disappear if they are surrounded by a transparent hull at some angles? I recognized this behaviour quite often…

Thanks.

Equi

Momoko_fan did a fix lately on transparent objects sorting that were sorted by their central position instead of their bounds.

maybe this is your issue too.

try to update to last svn.

Hello,

unfortunately not. The problem is not solved for my code. Keep in mind that the transparent hull shown in my video is of arbitrary shape. It is a very complex hull. Perhaps the reason is that it is not a trivial geometry?

Thanks.
