I cant connect this hub.jmonkeyengine.org and jmonkeyenegine.com homepage about 12hours......<br /> Is there any body who couldn
t connect here? Only me?
I`m so embarrassed about this…
yes everyone had this problem
Yeah.
me too
Yeah, I was lying shaking on the floor for a while going into withdrawal symptoms. I was tempted to go out on the street and tell random people to read “Scene Graph for Dummies”. That was too long to go without forum access.
And I still haven’t heard exactly what the problem was.
i went outside once, such bad graphics

Well, there's no gamma control for one. And the other day, the clouds were too uniform. Their texture designer really needs to get on the stick and create more random textures. ;)
When I worked for a 100% telecommuting company, we called outside “the big blue room”.
ah thats cool, i would call the outside “mans shithole” it once was beautiful, well some parts are still at least
Virginia is beautiful. I cannot complain about that. I’ve lived in some really bad places, though. But I have an almost irrational love for the wildlife/forests of this state.
There are places that look like this within walking distance of where I live:
http://www.virginiaforestwatch.org/graphics/LeeRD-PaddyRunTS.jpg Though maybe without the rocks in the stream.
Actually more rocky rapids are not far away… a fifteen minute drive maybe:

And I’m in a place with office building parks down the road, a “downtown” area near that, an airport less than 10 minutes away, and I live within walking distance of a shopping center.
Wait. I think maybe I should go outside more. I can call it “research” for Mythruna.
It must have gone down during the nightly build or something…
This is the first chance I’ve had a second of time to get on the forums all day! Seemed should have emailed me about the downtime, I would’ve had it up much quicker than 12 hours!
In any even, sorry for the downtime
It went down sometime last night… like 1:00 AM or something… and was down until I went to bed at least at 6 AM. I’m not sure e-mail would have helped if you were sleeping.

Hahah. I didn't start it out that way when I wrote that post... though I'll admit that I take a lot of inspiration for my natural environments from where I live.

Google: "bat signal" ;)
But I can say I'm on the forum at 0100 and it is indeed up, so I guess Hudson behaved tonight

I even grabbed a nightly. :)
I have another 4gb of RAM that I left at work when I thought the sticks were bad (they aren’t). I’ll pick them up after the holiday and reinstall them. It should stop the Apache processes from dipping into swap space when Hudson is fully spooled up and running the builds.
Won’t help much with the site performance, unfortunately, as the entire database already fits into memory… Maybe it’s time to start caching pages to ram disk
