If you're in Windows you can go to the Control Panel -> Java and tell it to display the console and hopefully that will let you know what the problem is.

I don't see jme-awt.jar in there, which is used when you select a resolution (I think), and so you're probably getting a class not found exception falling out. Webstart hides some logs (once you enable them as df says) in [tt]c:documents and settings<username>Application DataApplication DataSunJavaDeploymentlog[tt], sort that lot by date to see the newest ones.
