If you want models to experiment with you can use http://www.wowmodelviewer.org/
This will get you all of the models used in world of warcraft
You can the export the models to Milkshake 3d and load them up in JME.
It wont export joints and animations though - they need help to do that …
I don’t really like using copyrighted models, you can’t post screenshots and such to promote your game. Blizzard has been really hard on some people who broke their copyright. There are tons of free models online which can be used freely, check the jME resources page.
Agree that you cant use them commercially, what you can get with wowmodelviewer are nice models to help with proof of concept and visualisation that actually work in JME.
I must have spent in total around 5 days downloading models from turbo squid and other websites only to find the models look awful in JME or dont work at all. Oh to have the luxury of a resident artist working on the project.
