Back from vacation so regular live streams are back. Join me tonight at 9PM GMT-4 as I stumble through the initial steps of getting the in-game clothing designer started.
Development-wise: This is just the first pass at clothing using the techniques that I developed earlier to basically paint texture layers. Down the line I will do some more advanced geometry stuff, too… but that’s more in the alpha stage. Even just being able to paint clothing in game will go a long way to making custom characters and having diverse NPCs… and may later extend to custom skin patterns on animals and stuff.
For now: swatch-based clothing.
