i can only really comment on point 1…

it's very very doable to integrate common devices such as the wii remote into jmonkey…

and jinput can handle many types of devices…

but it really depends on the type of device you intend to use…

so i'd give that a 7


  1. Depends on the specific device. Wiimonte was pretty straightforward when I tinkered with it. On the other hand it isn't an integral part of JME, you're using seperate APIs. 5.


  2. Both the examples you state are fairly straightforward. 7 for those.


  3. Moving straight to a named object is very simple. Moving along a preset path is also quite simple. More complex pathing is I think beyond the scope of JME, so you would need to code it yourself.


  4. Again, you would code this yourself and should not be in any way difficult assuming you structure your data well. 7.
