BOOOMSHAKALACKA!
Feast your eyes!

hub.jmonkeyengine.org is already fully operational but not yet live, in the sense that we haven’t yet closed down the old forum, performed a final post & member migration and initiated the .com redirects. Tomorrow, this will have happened. So get ready!
Note: If you’ve got any attachments, avatars or private messages you’d like to hold on to, this is your last chance. We’re sorry about the short notice, but we just can not wait.
in case Erlend just gave anyone a coronary with the words "this is your last chance", its worth pointing out that we aren't actually deleting any data, just taking the web front ends offline. If you've posted an avatar without backing it up and you just CAN'T live without it, just shoot me a PM.
Another option is to use a picture of me
Errr… Messages? I am rather attached to my messages, yes… I have been keeping every single byte mailed to me that is not spam… and I had the same policy with forum messages as well… Is there any way to migrate those as well over to this new place?

:)
Yeah, sorry for that, the old database is still there, so some plugin could be developed to get it over.. Maybe when I find the time I could write that..
The import script that I based my converter on did not support these and I also had to manually add tag support. Since the converter was for bbpress (the now buddypress-integrated forum system) it did not account for "private messages" which dont exist in bbpress. Now that all forum and user data is up-to-date and integrated in WP I guess it should be possible to find and reassign the data.. But not this week I guess ;)
Cheers,
Normen
Cool, thanks a lot… I am sorry if my last mail sounded harsh. Re-reading it I can see it can be misinterpreted, but I just meant it as a playful joke… Keep up the great work Monkeys!
There was a smiley at the end, how could you possibly be interpreted as harsh?
Promised myself I wouldn’t go to sleep before we hit this mark Nighty-night monkeys!
(Keep in mind, this is the .org statistics you’re looking at, so its only natural that it stayed close to 0 before launch day)
