While using the Terrain Editor, sometimes it bugs, I can’t explain why.
When I try to level terrain in a mountain, after the terrain is almost leveled, it keeps poping (really) little mountains when the mouse is moving to level the rest of the mountains.
Sometimes, after I delete a terrain from the scene, when I delete a terrain, while trying to add another, the UI isn't updated and it doesn't display a the scene, just the black color. I have to close the terrain and re-open with high frequency.
Editing DistanceLoadCalculator leads to no change in the scene, so it alone doesn't pop a save option.
After playing around with textures, the scale in a layer doesn't work anymore. It just refuses to work, need to close/open the editor again

There is a bit of a rounding error there. If the bumps stay just use the smoothing tool to remove them. This will be fixed eventually.

Yep that is a bug. I will try and fix it soon. There is going to be an overhaul on how the plugins listen to scene loading that will sort out some of these issues. Right now there are several annoyances switching between editors.

I just added this in and haven't finished the save cookie part of it yet. I will add that part tonight.

This seems to be working every time I try it. Maybe something happened to your terrain (in the editor) to cause this to stop. Can you reproduce the exact steps?

I have the problem, that the terrain isn't raised at the point where the sphere is, but a little bit away from the sphere.
In the center of the terrain is everything alright, but the more I move the sphere away from the center the more increases the error.
Is this a known bug?
I cannot reproduce this. Do you have more specific details? And how much is "a little bit"?
What version are you using? Also remember that the terrain gets raised at the vertexes, so if your terrain is scaled up and the tool radius is small, you will see what appears to be the non-center of the tool raising the terrain. Turn on wireframe to check.
I used 3.0.0.8275. But the bug exists even after updating to 8310.
The bug even happens when the terrain is newly created (with default parameters) and all flat.
Exactly in the middle of the terrain is everything alright and the tools work like they should. If I point the sphere approximately in the middle of the right half of the terrain, then the border of the terrain is edited.
But I found an other problem. When I set the little red dot in order to level the terrain, then the new level isn’t created at the X-position of the dot, but a few (hmm… meters? ) below. The difference is the same for every position I tried to set the dot.
