Cannot check out from CVS

Troubleshooting General Help

I got a problem checking out from CVS, I used the parameters from the "get started"-page:



Authentication: pserver

Path: /cvs

Host Address: cvs.dev.java.net

Username: guest



But the server requests a password for user guest.



Server message:



Authentification error: guest: no such user

the update procedure of dev.java.net probably terminated the guest acount

I created an account and everything is working fine now.
