I'm currently building AI middleware for an AI players only demo.  The demo will be a Wipeout clone.  I'm a big fan.  I've built a Genetic Algorithm package and a Neural Network package.  But I have a long way to go. :(  Your user ID implies you are into AI too?  What are you doing with AI?

Well I am a noob when it comes to AI. I started writing an AI years ago for an arcade type strategy game named Intergalactics. Now I need to tackle numerous AI issues in my current project which is a turn based strategy game. I have implemented a nice A* code, but nothing more so far. I am very curious about AI though and will probably pay a lot of attention to it in the years to come.



I was asking because I could probably use some advice with something as simple as pathfinding. I would not want to hi-jack this thread though :slight_smile:
