Forum syntax help

It could well be that I am just not looking in the right place, but I can't find a link for the forum markup syntax anywhere.  I know that there is one for this forum because I've used it before.

IMO every edit page which supports markup/wikitext should have alink to a reference, but I can't find any on the page I am typing into.  Did it get lost in an upgrade somewhere along the line?

I dunno if there ever was a direct link to it, but you can access it by adding help to anything that uses php?action on this forum, like checking your PMs. Or you can use this link :stuck_out_tongue: But direct link? Not that I know of.

This should change once we’ve applied an actual integration of the forum with Joomla though, at which point the menus won’t be mixed any longer. Rather the complete SMF menu will just show up below the universal navigation, which means the help link is included.

the only upgrades done have been stability/security patches…  I personally don't remember seeing anything like this but will take a look around.  Can you find an example online and link to it possibly?

As for the wiki, there's a link to the syntax on the top of all edit pages…

I'll keep my eye out.  I am certain I've used the reference because I have used tag options which are not possible using only the toolbar buttons, and I know I never manually typed in a URL to get it.

I have no issue with the wiki.

the words "edit page" and "wikitext" prompted me to include it :)
