downloaded the platform and copy and pasted example code to .java file and got an import error for the geomipmap for this terrain example. I thought the platform would have been setup to aleast run all the tutorials from the website. I would rather do this from eclipse base, if I could locate the sample folders for the models etc.
maybe I am just missing something, just seeing how the new improved jme is over the jme2.
The terrain stuff was not in alpha-2, you can update jMonkeyPlatform to the latest nightly version by going to Tools->Plugins->Settings and enabling the nightly update center.
