How can I export and import skeleton animations in blender?

how can I export and import skeleton animations in blender? I mean is it possible to make and animate a Human model in blender and export just skeleton and animations of it and use that is another model?

It might be possible to use Blender’s BVH exporter to export the animations to BVH files and then use Maud/Wes to map those animations to models. (I haven’t tried this yet.)

It might be easier to export the human model with its animations (using Xbuf or Ogre XML exporters) and then use Maud/Wes to map those animations to your target models.

Either way, you’d probably need to create a skeleton map. It’s rare for skeletons created by different artists to match exactly.
