just wanted to write ist down somewhere: the test/demos on the main site are still using jME v0.11
the tests also download the whole 24MB test data jar even if they don't require all that stuff.
Yeah!, I noticed that too, and was wondering if that is meant to change soon…
i suppose the tests are the first things potential new users try out.
They'll be updated shortly.
I always wondered why you don't make a complete package?
It is very confusing, in specially for newbies to download three different packages and set them up right.
I also believe you would get less bandwidth usage with one package, since people would just download, and unpack.
