So no, the change shouldn’t be reverted, maybe documented somewhere.
I spent 2 weeks looking for a breaking change which had no documentation about it.
Both the Forum announcement and the blog announcement direct people to the official release notes, where the change tops the list of “potential breaking changes”.
Where else should such changes be documented?
