Have you tried running the uninstaller and re-installing?

Try explicitly setting your user as the owner of your home directory… From what it looks like jMP cannot write to your home directory.

you installed netbeans and jmonkey in the same directory?

nope.
all i did was install it using the supplied installer.
I don’t know what causes this I only know its got to do with something being messed up on that system. Other people had this too, idk how they solved it.
