I haven’t dived into the code, only watched videos. I haven’t found anything that OpenRTS is not already doing.
2d collision, steering behavior, pathfinding, influence and tactical IA for larges groups of unit is the core of OpenRTS, thought it needs a lot of improvements.
So I will keep it close for the day we will enhance and optimise these features.
