Masked Lighting Material

#Masked Material

A lighted material shader that appears unshaded depending on a defined mask even under the DLSR shadows.

Tired of having the bloom filter smudge up and blur your glowing objects? Want to make glowy text in textures appear clear and sharp?

If you answered yes to either of those two questions then this material is for you!

Before:

After:

Usage:

Set the texture parameter “GlowMask” to a regular glowmap to make those parts appear unshaded.

material.setTexture(“GlowMask”,texture);

While that glows the material without a bloom filter you can still use a glowmap for the material on top of it with the usual “GlowMap” param.
