MonkeyWorld3D doesn't work with Vista, what's my other options?

Read the title. I need another terrain editor that works with jME. Since vadirmir or something like that stated it doesn't work with Vista.

Not installing ubuntu (The box software if that isn't spelled right) because I did that before and it's really laggy.

If you need something to model a terrain with have a look at mapspinner! This is really an impressive pice of software:

And I suppose you’ll get it closer to the complete editor functionality if you combine it with SceneWorker (they are working on an out-of-the-box integration between the two, but there’s no telling when that’s gonna be available).

it's the first thing on my todo list for the next version of scene worker...
so maybe in 2 months fingers crossed....

Yeah great,…keep on with the good work! Actually I didn't use SceneWorker much, but SceneMonitor is sooo useful.

Thanks for the replies, but it doesn't work.

How exactly does it work? Do I import it and use it in the same directory as jME2?

Well…you have to unzip the archive. It is an eclipse-prject. So you can use Import->Existing Projects into Workspace . Then you go to properties->java build path->projects and select your jme2 project. In order to use it try the class mapspinnertests.MapSpinnerTest
