Troubleshooting General Help

I’ve done some NetBeans updates and linked a nightly build as lib.



Further, i changed nothing, cant figure out what broke my JME/NetBeans



a re-install did not help me. Where are these plugins and how do i find out whats wrong with them (ie: which ones missing)

Hey,



I had a problem after an update that trashed the environment and started complaining about dependencies. If you have the same issue the way I fixed it was…


  1. BACK UP ANY IMPORTANT DATA!!!


  2. Uninstall JMonkey using its uninstaller. It will ask you if you want to delete a folder containing all kinds of private profile data - I selected yes.


  3. Re-install the Alpha 4 version.


  4. Fire up the environment


  5. Apply the two updates it wants to do to update the updater.


  6. Restart the environment.


  7. Set the update settings to include only:



    Base Platform Alpha

    JMonkeyEngine SDK Nightly

    JMonkeyEngine SDK Stable

    JMonkeyEngine SDK User Contributions


  8. Apply all updates EXCEPT!!!
