It’s hard to understand what you mean without seeing code or anything beside. The router works according to the rules set by using the administrative special interface. Check this if you have any router issue 192.168.1.1
Routers do not have static IP address locators. Some use 192.168, some use 10.0 - but any subnet that is private is useable. Although some addresses are common, there is no set standard and they can be changed by the user anyway.
